Alistar changes

I don't like the change to w-q combo because if you can buffer it while pressing w, then there is no distinction as to who is a good Alistar and who is not. Most players look down on us(supports) because they think it's the easiest role to play and then you go and do this kind of changes. Plus a 100% chance to hit combos is a very big (unintended) buff. Long story short, it's not rewarding anymore when you hit those combos, please revert the changes.

what the fuck are you talking about

this was ONE HUNDRED PERCENT INTENTIONAL

Not rewarding? Its not rewarding to headbutt and then waste your q on air. alistars combo before was a crapshoot of did it glitch right? (as it was an unintentional bug BEFORE THESE CHANGES) its like having to press q at the right time after leona e for it to "stun right" why the ferk would they do that?

league wants things to be precise, and replicable , not an odds roll as his combo was before.

And next time try reading the patch notes

First of all calm down kid. What I am saying is that w-q combo was the only thing in Alistar's kit that requires some skill. If i get a guaranteed combo then what's the point of playing him at all. And then people go in forums complaining about lee sin and thresh's popularities. No shit, if you remove any difficulty from the champ you take the fun out of him, that's my opinion and this is what I argue here. P.s If you don't get my point don't bother answering.

what im getting at is that it wasnt skill, the same timing of button presses could cause multiple scenarios, usually involving some terrain, now its streamlined. Alistars headbutt before the change was way too much of a risk to even use, with it saving the enemy more often than not.

P.s. If you dont understand why they made the changes, dont ask for a revert.

"the same timing of button presses could cause multiple scenarios"

The combo on its own if timed correctly will always replicate the same result (the mechanic is consistent) it's not like you execute the combo in the same price timing 3 times in a row and you end up with different interactions. So i don't really think it's a matter of consistency. If this is the case (inconsistent outcome) then you are right and the change should have happened.

If that's not the case then I do believe that the risk involved in messing the combo should be kept to distinguish the good alistar from the mediocre alistar.

May I ask what champion do you main ?

Support is a strategic role not a clicking role. You need to protect your adc, poke enemy adc, negate enemy support, provide vision, initiate teamfight (your team can win or loose a game depending on your decision) and defend the team in teamfight. Normally you are the mind of the team. Adc is a clicking role (requires fast reflexes).

In short, you need to focus on other things than champ control. Supports needs easy mechanics, because your task is make your team win the game.

There is more to support than those things you said. A good support, needs good mechanics as every other position does. Movement prediction, positioning, dodging etc is not only for an adc. A good support controls the lane in a losing match-up and abuse the strength of a winning match-up.

I don't mind the fact he's getting 100% assurance. I DO MIND HOWEVER, that because RIot streamlined it like this, its increasing the duration of the total CC. Before, suggesting you got it off, it was all about the pulverize. NOW, there is this awkward freaking delay and it seems like most champs can't do sheet during it until he uses pulverize and of course that's a knock-up that further inconveniences. It feels like they're letting the entirety of Headbutts CC take affect without you flying back, before the pulverize knock-up occurs and I"M NOT OK WITH THAT. That's quite frickin broken early game.

Personal opinion, but I'd either shorten the window for the ability to buffer, or make it so you buffer like a Blitz Punch. And that way, if he headbutts. He should like dash jump and come down not with head but a smashing crash of fists. NO awkward pausing. True sublime streamline. It would make more sense.
