IP Cost for Ranked Queues

Ranked queues can feel like a grind at times. Sometimes you hop out of the queue to learn a new or reworked champion in normals or test the new patch out , but for most Summoners this can be few and far between. On the flip side, Summoners who prefer normal queues may run into opponents and allies with very different skill levels, i.e. having a Diamond or higher Summoner versus a Summoner who may not even be level 30. Requiring IP to enter Ranked Queue would impact a few things around the Rift. Adjustments- Ranked Games no longer reward IP (win, lose or draw) Normal Games have a higher base IP gain to mitigate Rewards- Ranked Rewards such as IP loot caches to get back in the game quicker Mid Season Rewards promoting Ranked play How It May Affect the Rift- _A more well-rounded MMR between the queues A greater sense of achievement _ SEE YOU ON THE RIFT SUMMONER!
