Kayn Transformation Conundrum
I've recently been playing some Kayn. Thanks to the kayn mains reddit community, I've learned that his transformation is based on two separate bars (blue and red) when one is full, you get that transformation as your option unless you wait 4 min, and you can only see the more full bar; not even WHICH one is more full. The amount of a bar that gets filled is based on the damage dealt to a type of champion (ranged and melee for blue and red) AND it is based on the time lapsed in the game. Meaning that if 1 AA gives 1 point in the bar at 1 minute in, 1 AA might give 10 points in a bar at 10 minutes.
This is incredibly frustrating when you are gunning for Rhaast and mostly fill that bar, but you pick up a kill or assist on a mage and due to the time lapse boom. You're waiting 4 minutes to transform into Rhaast because you didnt know how full your blue bar was. I have 3 things to improve this mechanic.
1: split the round circle into 2 so that you can see both bars. The left half can be blue, and the right half red. Then we can see which one is more full, and how full they are. Additionally, the middle bead in the circle can reflect which one is more full based on color.
2: there are hidden values for the points in the two bars. Allow us to see the hidden values when we mouse over them. For example, I should be able to see "Shadow Assasin 51%" or "Rhaast 63%". This would additionally allow the community to calculate how much damage results in how much bar filling at what time. Then we can prepare and plan to transform more easily.
3: make the aforementioned bars printable. I want to be able to ping to my team that I'm 94% of the way to my transformation so that they know this too. I should be able to ping that I have 2 minutes until the transformation I want as well.
I think these 3 things would make the character easier to work with and make him more self explanatory, as well as helping you communicate to your team. I would love for Riot to add this, or explain why it hasn't/won't be done.
