Earlier today, I was playing Cho'Gath. I have about a 3.7 KDA with him over about 40 games, with an ~75% win rate. I go into my first game against the reworked Fiora, I get my ass handed to me on a silver platter, the cooldown on her lunge is on par with a yasuo q, and Vitals always seemed to face her. Her parry counters my silence, so i cant stop it from blocking my q, so I cant get away, once she got Hydra, she killed my tower, then she killed me. I am an avid Cho'gath player. It seems dumb that the only way to beat her is to play a champion like Gnar. Perhaps I was playing against her wrong, but I think she's bat shit broken... Thoughts?

I think it was your first time playing against her in toplane, so you weren't used to or prepared for her yet.

Confirmed for bat shit broken. I don't know who is responsible for these few latest patches but season 5 is the worst season of league of legends so far.

cho gath is a lot more toxic and oppressive then fiora imo more cc a silence and a more consistent ult

All you have to do against Cho' is dodge q's and poke him.

All you have to do against Cho' is dodge q's and poke him.

No his bull shit passive gives him sustain thorugh your poke and once he gets a catalyst and a couple stacks he is unkillable for most mid laners, he destroys assassins with ease is as tanky as most top laners but does more damage then a lot of mid laners. All in all just an overtuned kit with abilities most other champions do not have (true damage ultimate that is also a buff and a aoe cone silence)

She Perries Summoner spells summoner 14 summoner 3 And Riot knows and let's her...

Nuf said...

Her pre-reworked state was easier to handle.... her ult used to be countered by Champions that can Invis or item 3157

now neither of them can save you.

Maybe item 3140 might negate her ult? never tried that...

But I know one thing.. she does soo much true damage not even item 3075 affects her anymore once she gets item 3074

If she parries your summoner spell, then you have extremely bad timing. Your summoner spell is instant for god's sake, so unless Fiora can see your screen than she won't be able to parry it 90% of the time.

Her ult can be countered by not standing still, or standing next to a wall. Unless you're a champion that requires special situations in order to get the best DPS (like Caitlyn) there's no reason for you not to stand next to a wall. Standing next to a wall allows her to proc 3 of 4 vitals, prevents her heal, and prevents any more vital damage for 15 seconds, and forces her to do 100% physcial damage. That's where Thornmail comes in handy.

And Fiora isn't like Vayne. She has an extremely high skill cap, requiring lots of positioning in order to get her true damage. If she's consistently proccing true damage on you other than when she ults, you need to rethink your position, and the way you are playing the game.

Her high skill cap is negated by how often she can re-position herself with lunge. It's EXTREMELY forgiving.
