Why do i suck at this Game?

Im having fun with League, but in most Games i end up dying because Enemies Group up on me and kill me within Seconds. If i try to go in a Fight, i get killed before i can even do Damage. Not that i do much Damage.

I frequently play Yi, Xin and Kata, i really need Advice for that because ending up with a 1-14 K/D is really frustrating.

Also sorry if something is written wrong, English is not my native Language.

Thanks in advance!

Yi and Kata are fairly squishy champions, so if you do get caught as either of them, it's very likely for them to burst you down. In terms of Yi, it's generally best that you don't initiate fights, as that isn't what Yi specializes in. Yi specializes in dealing damage, especially after most of the enemies blow their CC or ultimates on the tanks and initiators. Once the initiators have initiated teamfights, this is where you are relatively safe to go in. Either wait for enemy CC to die down or wait until your team CCs the enemy team. This is fairly similar with Katarina.

Xin Zhao on the other hand can be an initiator since his ultimate provides damage immunity to ranged attacks from outside the circular barrier after you cast your ultimate. However, at this stage if you're working on not dying, you may want to save your ultimate for peeling or purely for the CC/knockback.

If you are unable to do damage, check your builds, make sure they're in line with whatever champion you're playing and learn to build according to specific games. You're level 20 which I'd say is a perfect time to build for specific occasions, perhaps the enemy team is very auto attack oriented, or maybe they are very magic damage heavy. If you are unable to buy such items, you may be lacking on CS (or minion kills) or other forms of gold income such as jungle camps. Since you don't seem to play support, generally you would want to keep your CS to as much as you can without bothering your teammates as much.

Seek out guides and techniques on YouTube or other websites such as LoLking or Mobafire.

Hopefully this gives you a good start! Good luck out there!

Best way I've ever found to improve at a champ is to watch youtube videos of people at the top ranks who main that champ. Also notable, playing champs like those come with the steep learning curve of know when to go in, and how much damage you do. Nothing but experience will ever give you that sense for when the right time to jump into the fight is, so sometimes ya just gotta suck for awhile till it clicks.

It is a good start to understand that it's your problem that you dying. Some people blaming other players for losses for their deaths and stuff. "no ss from lane" = see like "I couldn't see that coming cause I didn't pay attention, but since it's too shameful to admit I suck, I will blame you for this". This goes one and on for many reasons. And about everything else. It's jsut an observation. You will get better at this eventually. Noone born a skillful human.

Sounds more like a map awareness/ position issue. The whole team shouldn't suddenly appear on you they should all be missing in which case you should be playing safer/ backing up so that they don't have the chance to suddenly appear on top of you.

And as for yi/ kata you don't really go in first you go in after they blow their cc and clean up.

Since you are a low level though I recommend going through all the champs (hard i know theres so many) and just looking for someone who you really think you'd enjoy playing and go with them. Since I imagine right now you probably don't have a prefered play style. Although I somewhat imagine you'd enjoy bruisers as they deal nice damage in general but also tend to be tanky enough to survive a fair amount of damage so maybe look at like jax, darius, jarvan, ect

Xin is nice but seems you always build him squishy nothing wrong with getting 1-2 damage items first but after that you might want to get some health/ armor or just start building him more of a bruiser right away he will do plenty of damage with a trinfinty force/ steraks.

For yi you can try something like titanic/ rageblade which will give you a good amount of damage but the health from titanic will help you survive a bit more but in reality even on assassins if you are dying alot you'll want some kind of armor/ magic resistance/ health in 1-2 item slots if you are dying that much.
