Your last 10 games in Ranked

I did this a while ago and forgot to post it, I decided to just jot down some notes for the next 10 games I played.

  1. mid lane feeds 5 kills in 6 minutes, rages at jungler, continues feeding the rest of the game in anger at jungler
  2. support intentionally feeds because he doesn't want to play support
  3. decent team - win
  4. duo queue takes bot lane. feeds 13 kills combined in 10 minutes to enemy ADC. Mid lane feeds 6 enemy.
  5. decent team - win
  6. first two picks both want jungle, both autolock jungle and refuse to do anything else
  7. intentional feeder top lane (says he doesn't care, he's drunk) and support rages and builds AD because "i should have been top lane"
  8. decent team - win
  9. support intentionally feeds because team won't surrender at 20min. we were only 1 turret and 4 kills behind.
  10. decent team - win

I'm going to do this for the next 10 and compare. It just seems like I get way more "bad" teams than "good" so I'm going to keep track.

One thing i've noticed is that you don't mention yourself once in this post. I highly doubt you are playing perfectly in all of those matches so it would be worth noting your results as well. Also, team atmosphere is a big role in determining weather or not you guys can win. You have to stay as positive as possible even during the times when you have feeding teammates. Stay positive and try to increase your team's overall morale even if you have allies feeding because, more than likely, you will win more games because of it.

The way i see it, just because your posting something like this makes me think that your overall mentality is faltering and maybe you need to change your attitude towards the game. Just try to have fun mate. Good luck in your future games and don't forget to have fun!

Sure, I'll bite.

  1. (Loss) Played Azir top. Did really well in lane, but our mid and bot lost hard. We got aced at 20 minutes and lost our inhib so we surrendered. We outscaled but Amumu and Vayne were so far behind that it just wasn't going to happen.

  2. (Loss) Riven top. Had a really rough time versus smite/TP Shyvana, but managed to get some kills off of roams to stay relevant. Unfortunately other lanes went even or lost slightly like me and they won with a good midgame teamfight.

  3. (Win) Riven top again. Absolutely destroyed a Sion in lane - 6/0/0 in 10 minutes. Mid Zed snowballed off some of the plays I made and we carried together.

  4. (Loss) Syndra mid. Top lost super hard even though our Lee camped for him. Lee died up there several times as well and then top roamed mid and started diving me under turret. Bot did okay but it wasn't enough. Lost super hard.

  5. (Win) Thresh support. Got graves super fed vs Draven/Janna, I roamed with our Evelynn and took all their jungle, she got fed too. Won extremely hard.

  6. (Win) Morgana support. We did okay in lane but our top and mid lane went nuts and carried super hard with ~14 kills and ~4 deaths each.

  7. (Loss) Thresh support. We won lane but top lost pretty hard. Their amumu and swain played super well and carried the game.

  8. (Win) Sivir ADC. Noticed I have a stupidly high winrate on this champ. We had a teamfight comp and I did really well, so did our Wukong + Yasuo. Easy win.

  9. (Loss) Riven top. Laned against Kennan and had a really difficult time. Didn't feed lane but died a lot in teamfights and their Kalista carried. That loss was most likely my fault for the teamfight misplays.

  10. (Loss) Xerath mid. Played really well, solo killed leblanc a couple times, but our Blitzcrank disconnected and when he got back they fought a lot instead of trying to catch up and fed pretty miserably. Top lane lost really hard to gnar - didn't feed but like 100 cs to 200. Couldn't carry and we lost in midgame.

Overall I'd say two games I felt I deserved to win, but lost anyways. (Xerath and Azir games). I got carried super hard one time out of ten and I carried my team fairly hard in two out of ten games. Winning 4 and losing 6 seems pretty reasonable out of a small sample size like 10 games.

  1. Was the reason the enemy bot lane was fed. Mainly to save vaynes ass. Vayne then carried 20 and 5 and we won. was Leona
  2. Leona was banned. I played Morgana . The mid and the jungler fought eachother over feeding lanes and enemy jungler. BOTH AFK'd causing a loss.
  3. Shit stomped enemy team with Leona allies were very map aware.

Sounds like you're lucky. Had two friends watch me play tonight and get a toxic/afk/feeder 12 (TWELVE) games in a row. Losses, a dozen of them, completely out of my power.

OCE has to be the worst, most toxic, sarcastic, know-it-all, selfish server in LoL, and it really sucks to have to admit that. I played wow for 5 year with Americans and on NA LoL, and never experienced anything like it.

I'm just going to say, most of my games(Ranked or not) turn out to be crap because I'm the most unlucky League player in history....

Example: Every game I play with or against a Sion, I lag. I don't know why, it just happens. Example: Yesterday, played a game as Yasuo on Team Builder, first Yasuo game in about a week or two. Paired against a Heimerdinger. Example: Same game. I walk into our jungle, find the enemy adc(Draven) in the bush, and before I can respond I'm half health and he's just finishing me off. Common Example: Always get last pick and stuck as support, my worst role.

It was basically half, which makes sense. Every game one of the teams rages and loses the game, whether or not it's yours will correlate with your winrate.

I like the thread and I'm sorry you're getting troll reactions in a couple comments.

If you're willing to listen to a bit of advice about how you document things though, I'd suggest if you are going to elaborate on losses elaborate on the wins as well. By not going into why you won (especially if you never list "our X totally carried our team and was awesome") then it reads kinda like you are listing a bunch of games where people other than you feed/troll and you lose, and then every game you win it is bc your team didn't hold you back. By not listing yourself AND not telling about teammates who did well in wins it creates this false impression I don't think you were going for.

My advice is list the good stuff your teams do in wins. Also list your play, in some of the wins you will play like shit and get carried, in some of the losses you will play great and people will troll, and in some of both you'll just do average and the game will be decided in a really close fight, or by someone who is doing well against a different lane, or against all the lanes.

The trick is to focus wholly on your own game though, try to carry from where you are and work with or ignore the rest of your team as you see fit.

The real point he's making is that, in many games, it feels like the worst player in the game dictates the outcome of the match by losing the game for his team. Players that are much more skilled (such as smurfs) can overcome having the worst player on their team, but otherwise, games are frequently decided by who has the worst player or who has players that are not giving an honest effort.

This looks interesting. Good luck in your games and the tally, should be nice to see how things go on a game to game basis. But you may want to use the format that Nasreth used (telling your champion, how you did overall, and then the factors that won or lost you the game).

People don't wanna admit it, but the current meta really stresses that all your teammates know whats going on. The people who got boosted are really going to show this season.

There's nothing wrong with Riot wanting the meta to be more team oriented, but they have made solo que A LOT harder this season with the changes.

I feel like throwing mine in just 'cause.

  1. Top lane: Yasuo (3/11/2) Got two early kills on Riven so their jungle camped me the rest of the game. Enemy Kat bought Mejai's. Loss.
  2. Mid lane: Yasuo (14/13/7) Gnar fed enemy Pantheon, we got destroyed. Loss.
  3. Mid lane: Annie (13/5/5) Jax fed Rengar, and our Amumu missed everything. Loss.
  4. Jungle: Khazix (5/9/9) Enemy Jinx and Jarven got fed. Our Xin was a beast though. Loss.
  5. Mid lane: Katarina (14/13/6) Only one on my team that went positive. The enemy team had three tanks and a ton of CC to stop me with. Loss.
  6. ADC: Sivir (8/3/14) Final score 44 to 12, enemy team destroyed. Win.
  7. Top lane: Khazix (6/5/3) Got destroyed in lane by Riven, but some TP ganks kept me in the game. Win.
  8. Jungle: Jax (5/6/1) I was the only one with more than 2 kills, half of my team's kills. Loss.
  9. Mid lane: Fizz (10/5/1) Me and Malz roamed and both got fed. He got more fed than me. Loss.
  10. Jungle: Khazix (2/14/4) Enemy Jarven and Ezreal got fed. Jarven invaded to keep me out of the game. Loss.

While I do have the bad games, so do my team mates. I've yet to really find any feeders though, but barely played ranked so it'll happen eventually.

Sounds like a fun idea, so I dug up my past 10 ranked games. Listed starting with most recent.

  1. Played as Lux, mid. This game was actually going really well for us, but our toplane Garen d/c'd. We couldn't win the 4v5. Sad because we both ended up wearing the Steel Legion skins, and I think the rest of the team thought we were duo. (Loss; My score 11/5/19)

  2. Played as Twisted Fate, mid. This game got out of hand pretty quick. I didn't realize that their Master Yi jungler had taken TP, so when I Ulted down to bot lane to try and swing the favor of the engagement down there, we were all surprised when Yi jumped out of one of the bushes. All 3 of us die, I lose mid tower (vs Jayce so he killed it pretty quick) and bottom tower also goes down. The game was all downhill from there. (Loss; My score 1/5/6)

  3. Varus, ADC. Sheesh, I don't really even know what went wrong in this one. We were winning pretty hard, I was something like 8/1/? by the 20 minute mark. I think we just had a poor team comp, Varus, Blitz, Yasuo mid, Kennen top, Udyr jungle. We had no knockups for Yasuo to take advantage of, Kennen was 3/13/17 by the end of the game, the enemy Fiora was really handing it to him. It just got to a point where we couldn't handle their team anymore. (Loss; My score 18/8/10)

  4. Ashe, ADC. This one was really close, a pretty equally skilled game. The main problem: Enemy team had 2 Barons and 6 Dragons, we had ZERO on both. (Loss; My score 12/7/13)

  5. Twisted Fate, mid. This game was tough, I was laning against LeBlanc. But I was able to avoid dying to her, and ult to bot lane a few times to help our Sivir get fed. Despite being a 40 minute game, our Rammus never upgraded his Machete apparently, so I thought that was weird. But we did end up winning. (Win; My score 9/7/14)

  6. Jinx, ADC. Not much to say here, I was really "on" that game, and my Janna support was amazing. I got a Quadra kill in a teamfight and they surrendered immediately at around the 25 minute mark. (Win; My Score 12/0/0)

  7. Cho'Gath, mid. This game was fun, we had a Teemo dominating the enemy Nasus top, while I was matched against Anivia. She didn't seem to understand that my silence turns her ult off. The other team never seemed to get it going. (Win; My score 11/3/9)

  8. Quinn, mid. (She's a really good assassin i promise) Laning against Orianna went pretty well, and I roamed pretty hard for kills. Our main problem was our Hecarim vs Riven in top lane. The Riven got so far ahead we eventually couldn't stop her. Hec ended the game 0/8/8, Riven was 18/4/7. (Loss; My score 10/10/9)

  9. Twisted Fate, mid. Laned against Kassadin, he wasn't too bad in lane. I made some plays early and we were up, but a tragic teamfight lost us two towers, and Kassadin netted a triple kill in that fight. After that he was suddenly unstoppable. He ended up going 18/2/18 despite being only 1/1/? at the 20 minute mark. (Loss; My score 11/12/13)

  10. Cho'Gath, mid. Laning vs LeBlanc, she did not respect Cho's power. Our bot lane Vayne also did really well. Honestly, the game just felt like a mismatch. (Win; My Score 9/0/3)

Edit: Just did a little averaging as a TL;DR. So out of these 10 Games I averaged 10/6/10. I feel like that's pretty good, I could maybe work on dying a little less. Only won 4/10 though.

I'll be a bit more critical of myself than you Amumu (W) Excellent game, we work so well together Vi (W) I was playing poorly at the start, really I could have lost the game by myself. Later on, we took advantage of the few mistakes the enemy made and we won Chogath (L) I got fed early, but our team could not work well enough together. If I managed to die less I might have made a bigger impact, but communication was our downfall. Amumu (W) This is the worst experience I've ever had with a teammate. Our Orianna gave first blood and kept on dying and dying, I helped her out once and I "ks'd" her, and she got pissed at me because I was last hitting minions under turret. She then told me to kill myself simply because of that, so I muted her but I really did not want to play anymore. I played poorly but we still managed to win. Amumu (L) We lost so much in the early game, I couldn't do much since I was playing a passive jungler until level 6. If I picked an early ganker I might have made a bigger impact. But late game everything was on me to make to impact in fights, but our main damage dealers were too passive. Vayne (W) I don't usually play adc but I had to this game, I did my part and we won. Nothing much else. Alistar (L) This was a game I felt hard done on. My adc and I were by far stronger than the other bot lane but all we heard throughout the game was "an ally has been slain" every 2 minutes. It was too much and we couldn't do anything else. JarvanIV (W) I misplayed a few times against the enemy Fiora who was 3/0 when I was 0/2. But she didn't know how to farm so I got much stronger than her as the game progressed. Chogath (W) Flawless game Chogath (L) Late at night, really should not have played I could not focus at all. Although the other top laner was not a big deal, I did not do my part in the team. 6/10 wins not too bad
