Rework? Eventually, sure, but if I recall correctly the quote from Morello is on the lines of "If Poppy ever becomes popular, she'll be nerfed to oblivion"

No, that was option 2. Option 1 was a rework.

I'm not sure how much she can be nerfed only because her early game is so bad.

Last I heard yes she's been on the rework list for a long time now, kind of like Sion and Taric, since she's such an old champ. So regardless of her popularity she's got a rework in her future =X

Yes, Vizicsasci is amazing, and yes, this was basically the perfect setup for playing her (low pressure enemy laner).

That said, Riot's openly acknowledged in the past that Poppy's on the side of OP, but she's so unpopular, especially within the current meta, that Riot was fine just lettng her be.

Their stance on her might have changed in a couple years since the last tme anyone said anything about her other than 'rework on the way', but...
