Better Ranked LP Issue for AFK Teamates

Dear Riot and Community,

First of all, having an AFK team mate in ranked is probably one of the annoying thing you can go through in this game. I'm tired of people going AFK in the first 10 minutes while everything is going smoothly, and I know most of you people reading this know what I'm talking about. I know a 4v5 is winnable, but not when the enemy team actually knows how to play somewhat well. Some people out there probably disagree and will say they win every 4v5 ranked game and they are all winnable, but lets face it; honestly they are not.

Since we are not in control of the situation, why are we facing the full penalty of losing? Why are we losing as much LP as having a full 5v5 game? Shouldn't we at least only lost half of it? ... or isn't there something less immense then having to lose like 18 LP, that isn't even your fault? Yea, I know... you can report people, but honestly whats that going to do? Most certainly not give you your LP back or change the outcome of the game.

I truly believe this part of the game can be improved. I'm not saying to not lose any LP or something, but losing all that is really not right. You're not in control of the situation- you cannot win. If you believe something about this is not right, please comment so I can see the reason why.
