Flash and Ghost thoughts

{{summoner:51}} [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Dear Riots game designers/developers/artists and many others I can't name but are still very talented,

I have a great suggestion for you related to the game. I've just realised that the summoner's spell called "flash" is actually a very short teleport. I discovered that while playing Morgana and couldn't bind a Sylas that was perfectly in my range and flash straight on me. My bind didn't hit, that's when I read the description of "flash" being a small teleport and not a "very fast movement" which would actually make my bind work. I was quite annoyed by it. The name of this summoner spell shouldn't be flash, which make think that it would give a similar mechanic as Flash the super hero who moves very fast but doesn't teleport. Maybe call it something else, like "jaunt" which just means "short journey" or a "fly" or a "jump" because technically there's no abilities that is related to the hight of the game so if you're in the air it makes sense to be invulnerable. However a very nice person named Awk answered to my ticket about it and suggest I post it here that's why I'm doing this. He also said that the "flash" name could come from the fact that the animation of it does "light", it still doesn't make much sense to me because this is just a visual effect and shouldn't define the name of a mechanic which main action is not to provide light but to teleport. Anyway it was nice and funny actually thinking about a replacement name, I'm pretty sure you will either never read or never answer to this message and it's fine I had my fun :) I shall go back to playing the game now ... thanks for reading, have a great day :)

Addendum: I realised that the summoner's spell "Ghost" should actually be named "Flash". Again, referring to the super hero Flash which would be very accurate for the "ghost" summoner's spell which doesn't turn you into a ghost because you're obviously not invisible nor invulnerable but is actually a very fast movement ! again thank you and I hope you have a great day :)
