Sorry Panth... Galio just does it better!
Anyone else bothered by the fact that Galio's ult is near instant procs a shield and knocks up opponenets. While pantheon gets lost in space for nearly 10 secs and then does LOLnothing dmg.

3 seconds isnt instant
Hey look, a global circular ability! It must be a better version of an old ult. You also forgot to mention that panth ult can be casted ANYWHERE and galio only on allies
Also panth's ult doesnt show until he is close to landing, so the heads up time is about the same as galio's 3 seconds of telegraph until impact.
Galio can't assassinate people or ult behind your tower in lane.
Pan ults where he choses. galio does not
Im pretty sure Panth will be getting changed at some point down the road. His kit is kind of archaic, he came out in 2010(On my birthday, I just noticed) and I don't think his kit has ever been adjusted that much. He's not exactly in a bad place, but he's in the "everyone does his job better" category.
I'm curious to how he might get adjusted to be involved in today's version of LoL, I use to "main" him a bit back in Season 3/4 for jungling so I'd love for him to be viable again.
Also, everyone has already explained why Galio and Panth are different kinds of ults. Im just saying my opinion on Panth's side of things.
Galio ulting invisible allies will be fancy :P
