Shen would need 683 AP for his shield to be equal to Sion (at 5k hp) * /r/leagueoflegends

I have already explained most of what i wanted to explain but one thing i dont want people to think is that i want shen's W to be just like Sion's, because i dont want the thing i just want the balance team to change his scalings to percent max hp since he is a bruiser/tank. The point that i am making with the amount of AP needed to have the same shield strength as Sion is that, that is how bad his ap scalings are.

Yes but thats not what Riot intended shen to be, a mage, he is listed as a tank/fighter. This is the same case as Mf's stupid hybrid scalings

What was the point of this comparison? Different champions have different kits.

Shen also benefits from a 50% damage reduction on taunted targets and can shield allies, where as Sion cannot? This isn't an issue of imbalance, but rather a case of different kits.

Stupid comparison between apples and oranges.

you arent getting what im saying, and the damage reduction only applies to auto attacks, his w late game is a piss waste of energy is what im saying, utterly useless shield You dont understand how underpowered his w is.
