rengar the pridestalker

hows everyone doing idk i was just thinking about rengar and decided that i wanted to talk about what i thought should have happened because in my humble opinion rengar just isnt as fun to play as he used to be and honestly i just think that the rework didnt do what it was supposed to do at all for my little bundle of fluff

when rengar was announced as one of the big changes for the assassin update i had high hopes that maybe they could take rengar to a place where maybe he was a little more balance-able and keep the cool theme of a hunter but instead of doing what was said and making him balanced all they did was give him everything the community hated about him added more stuff to make him even more opressive at the cost of how much fun he was. with old rengar you felt like a hunter that could swiftly take down your pray and while i cant say it was fun for others it was fun for the people playing rengar. with the rework though he just feels less fun for everyone that he already was playing against rengar became even harder do to his w being able to remove cc from him and make him cc immune while his q still does alot of damage and he can kill most squishies. i also feel that with the rework they didnt keep him as an assassin you are almost forced into a bruiser or off tank build just because of how his ult changed and because it just became better so instead of having many ways to play like old rengar where you could go tank or bruiser but full ad or even ap worked as well you just have this weird off tank or bruiser instead of the hunter that rengar is supposed to be. then after many balancing attempts at this point we have rengar where he is now almost unplayed and when he is he has a terrible winrate and just doesnt feel as fun.

the only times i see rengars do good anymore is when its the rare occasion in high elo or when its people from challenger or masters smurfing in plat and diamond games. even those players never seem to have as much fun with the champ. Nightblue3 for example used to play alot of rengar and even now still plays it but he has even said it just isnt as fun and wants the old rengar back.

i know riot wont often admit mistakes but i feel like rengar needs either another rework or they need to give him the kogmow treatment and revert what they ruined for not only me but so many other people. i feel like if they revert rengar all they have to do to make him not the one shot scary kitty he was is make his q unable to crit when rengar was seen as oppresive and unfun to play against it was when he was going full crit every game because that was the build that was working and at this point with ga as an item meant for adc's and other ad champions i dont even think it would be to great at this point in the games history.

the league community as a hull just doesnt really like assassins because they do there job so i dont even think them always complaining is right for what is done to champs rengar isnt the only casualty of this kinda stuff because zed and other assassins have been nerfed to below what is average strength or even what can be called balanced because people just dont like that the champ is made to kill others and it makes it hard for people that love these champs to have to constantly watch them get hit over and over into near unplayabilty unless you are a master of the champion because others dont like that there job is to kill people

sorry for ranting but its been on my mind and i just want to see rengar in a place that doesnt feel to strong and over all just isnt fun at all anymore idc if a champ is bad if there at least fun to play
