we have to go by raw stats
she has sat at a high Win and Play rate for nearly 2 seasons.
Her downsides in the midlane notably her short range are pretty much irrelevant given her mobility and sustain
I always thought an ahri was op...even with her super high bursty-in-combat-mobility she is still allowed to be backed by so much dmg because of her true dmg orb which is an ..aoe...not to mention her taunt...
TBH if ahri had a large increase to the cooldown on her taunt...I would shut up about her forever I really don`t see why she needs to have cc available to her on such a decent cd...id rather her be more reliant on teammates peeling for her then her being some weird wannabe super mobile aoe duelist.
Or are mages supposed to be adcs that simply self peel 10x better and can duel despite having mostly aoe kits....im looking at you

She's just flexible.
Her mobility isn't gated in one direction like a lot of other AP assassins (
).
It's less about pure stats and more about the fact that her flexible kit makes the slippery fox rather safe.
It's also VERY important remember... ##LCS is a completely different game than soloQ.
No, you are not Faker. You are not Doublelift. You are not Looper. These people have more mechanical knowledge of the game than your soloQ team combined.
Also, LCS is where you'll find a LOT of team coordination which you will NEVER get in soloQ. So that Rumble top may not work as well. It's partly why I never seem to go Braum in soloQ because that Irelia/Akali/Fiora's just gonna try and facetank all of their skillshots, then bitch to me that I never hopped to her... when she used her dash and never waited for me anyways.
tl;dr: just read the big bold letters. You don't have their skills. You also don't have their team coordination.
Or maybe, people forget things are OP and realize how strong it actually is once it's played in the LCS, I.E Dark Seal, Mordekaiser, Tabi shoes.
