Ranked Game play. -- 10 wins on a char before your allowed to play them in ranked.

Hello everyone. i have been playing ranked games in league for the last few seasons. i'm only at silver level play right now. but i am always trying to learn and get better. A huge problem in ranked is trolls. people who play ranked because it q's faster or w/e reason. they don't take it on a serious level of trying to move up in down the ranks. i would love to see riot implement a 10 wins on a char in normal/draft before allowed to play in ranked with that char. maybe having to get 10 wins in each roll as well. just an idea! it would help give players a better understanding of the game at higher level of play. it would help ranked be just that little bit better over all. it just takes more effort from the players.

This is a hilariously large amount of experience to ask for. You don't need 20 games on a champion to become reasonably competent playing it. If you know how to Lucian, for example, you can learn to Graves very easily. No need to force a guy to play normals for 15 hours before getting back into ranked.

I'd rather not, I like to take my champs straight into ranked.

"Better" in what sense? The purpose of ranked is to sort the playerbase in terms of their skill. People who take a champion into ranked without practicing them tend to do poorly. This results in their LP and rank decreasing to reflect their lower skill. Working as intended. Making everyone better at the game would not make ranked "better".

Wanting to prevent people from playing new champions sounds a lot like "I don't my teammates playing new champions because that's what's keeping me in Elo Hell" but I might be reading into it too much.

Maybe summoners with a certain account age or # of ranked wins can be immune to this rule?

That would solve the problem while not unnecessarily burdening people to spend 15 hours doing normals when they know what they're doing straight away, as well as cutting smurfs off at the knees by forcing them to play all those normal games before they can smurf in ranked.

Must have a drivers license in order to play ranked. Problem solved. Moving along.
