2/21 PBE Update: Skin Bios, Chroma Tweaks & Tentative Balance Changes!

30 mr and armor will make them a decent bit harder to burst not to mention the 30% damage reduction to be turned into bleed damage over time In some ways I admit adcs have no counter play to alot of mages who can 1 shot them from a safe range but this item might be a bit too much on them overall vs everything . Also its stats on pbe 3500 gold 60 AD 30 armor 30 mr 15% omni lifesteal and same passive Unique: Stores 30% of all post-mitigation physical and magic damage received, which is successively taken as damage over time true damage instead, dealing one-third of the stored damage every second.

No AS, no crit, no armor pen. Could be a powerful anti-burst option, but definitely not as a 1st/2nd item. GA would be better survivability item in most cases. BT, for the same price, gives 20 more AD, 5% more lifesteal(not omni, but ADCs usually deal most damage with autoattacks anyway) and a shield.

Just another way to invalidate assassins. As if there isnt a million ways to do so already, lol.

How to invalidate assassins: Dont be severely out of position dumby. Dont be isolated dumby. GA/Stopwatch/Zhonyas dumby. DeathDance PD Ninja Tabi I guess we need to buff DD tho. Lol.

Lol an ADC sitting on an Aegis of the Legion.

Yeah, sure it's totally gonna be great on ADC's /s

You'd have to sacrifice your Phantom Dancer or Mercurial Scimitar to buy it, it's not worth it.

Wow..... so Riot is attempting to homogenize all AD classes and further push mages into irrelevance, as well as make everyone a competent tank.

Nice.

The only real cost to this "change" is no CDR in exchange for 30 Mag resist and 30 Armor.

@ OP: I'm actually going to point something out:

Mages' only real easy target right now IS an adc, and not in every case. By making adcs irrelevant to mages, you're essentially observing a class killer. Those mages are balanced around current items.

And, the item is going to be extremely strong on Darius/Garen, because there will no longer be any "bursting" them; They literally will build item 3078 item 3071 item 3812 item 3065 as their cores, and champions who already struggle with them won't even be halfway mitigateable. There is no Mage counter items for a Garen who manages to get off a Q, and follow it up. There's no mage counter for a ghosting Darius.

Furthermore, these items are going to make these two champions almost completely immune to turrets. Meaning they no longer will just "stop chasing" when that chase involves going under a turret. They will now chase THROUGH turrets, and still kill you, with plenty of time to get away.

Who's ready to deal with Vayne's healing for 15% of their Silver Bolt proc damage and not getting blown up?

It's still too expensive of an item to main into an ADC build. Maybe it'd be lit on Draven, crit or not, his Q hits like a truck which is why you see him build the Bloodthirster as his first item.

It has always been Infinity Edge into Attack Speed and Critical Strike, some of the most affordable stats in the game, Death's Dance is about the same cost as Infinity Edge, whose value can't be boosted outside of more attack damage and armor pen, which is also some of the most expensive stats AD users will buy.

For marksmen, it's definitely a first purchase for Graves. Maybe Varus, Ashe, Sivir, Kog'Maw, and Senna. Since they don't have dashes, it allows them to absorb some damage and buy some time when encountering mages or assassins. I could be wrong though. But I think Graves, Draven, Varus, and Kog'Maw are strong candidates.

It's designed mainly for the likes of Sett, Irelia, Camille, Jax, where they have innate healing and damage reduction (shields, %, etc.) so those shields and reducers may get more value through Aegis of the Legion's armor and MR stats especially since the typical Trinity Force, Sterak's Gage, build DOES NOT grant armor or magic resist. ONLY health.
