Something still needs to be improved about the remake system
I recently disconnected from a game "which ive NEVER happened before" and the game was remade AS i was reconnecting. I got demoted because of this. There has to be a way not to punish people who reconnect. Extending the duration before you can remake because i just got cheated out of lp
Extend the duration and give them more time to dive you under tower and deny you of your remake yeah.. no thanks
The duration time is fine.
If it was any longer your team would be put way behind. That sucks for you, but if the enemy team was halfway decent they would have exploited your time spent disconnected. This game is so unforgiving when it comes to leads, and a laner or jungler being absent is just as bad as feeding. They're getting free gold, levels, and tower damage. Then you're going to need to sit under your tower, and worse case scenario you could be watching them farm while they freeze the wave waiting for you to try to farm. If you're the jungler then you better believe the enemy jungler is going to be looking for you.
You can still remake the match after a death has occured in the game, so I don't know what you guys are talking about there. That was changed. The real problem I have with the remake system is that sometimes players initially connect, but then disconnect before you even leave the fountain. That denies players a chance to remake.
I have seen this occur on my team and other teams. It sucks.
I agree they should either extend the time or update the system on someone reconnecting. I find it unfair if an issue occur during loading that is out of anyone's control. What i mean by out of control i mean either random disconnect whether your fault or riots. Bug splats also can be annoying the fact it occurs so random you can't predict it. I been in games where loading then disconnect or bug splat has occur, like ok just reconnect then while reconnecting bam remake and auto penalized. Not fair honestly, as well one time i did make it into game before remake vote i did move and buy things an ally hit remake 2 -3 vote the 2 won vote and auto remade game yet i was in and enemy wasn't even lv3. Now explain how that is fair? They need to update the system if a person coming back then extend time or something, not let the system assume they aren't coming back.
Its also not visual enough, would be nice if there was a little flashiness when the time to remake is near.
