...But that New Player Experience
I've seen all of these threads recently about how it is rage this, and rage that at the new levels - but the problem doesn't end there..
I'll be up front. I wanted to create another account for purposes that don't really matter. I select the highest starter difficulty, and play out my 3 bot matches getting to level 3.
My first possible normals game I receive a report. I said nothing except for "gg" at the end of the game.
It was clear that my enemy lane was rather new to the game (I cannot help this) and the lane is easily won. In fact, all of our lanes win, and we quickly push at their nexus, no farming champions, just straight for objectives - they surrender at 20.
To my knowledge there was no bm'ing in chat except for our midlaner's "gg izi" once in the middle of the game, and once at the end. Upon their surrender I say "gg".
There was no raging, or general dickery that typically comes with smurf games - and yet upon leaving the game I am greeted with a warning for verbal abuse! Now I understand that it may have been opposing smurfs (in my first normal game possible) being upset - but the enemy lane genuinely looked like new players.
To be clear, my fun does not come from these easier matches. I wish to win whatever is necessary as quick as possible to put me against other people my skill level...
But the community needs to understand that you report something worthy of reporting. My FIRST normal match and I get reported enough to receive a warning. I have not received a single warning whatsoever on my main across several thousand games.
tl;dr; new player experience - got reported in my first game, unwarranted. Report things worthy of reporting.
