A certain Kayce juke is no longer possible, should it be brought back?

So I was brushing up on my Jayce combos in a custom earlier when I noticed a fun Juke to do is no longer possible.

When Jayce used his E on the old Wight, he used to be able to knock it over the wall, then Q after it to jump over the wall. Similarly, he could use a ward or his Cannon Q to gain vision of Wight from the other side, and jump to get into the jungle.

PROBLEM: Neither of these seem possible now. It seems that Jayce targets the edge of the Gromp, which is much fatter than the Wight was, and thus his Q no longer travels far enough to hop over the wall. Instead he lands "in" the wall, and gets placed on the same side that he initiated the jump from.

Other camps such as Krugs still allow Jayce to jump the wall in the manner I described, as far as I can tell the problem is an unintended side effect of the Gromp's pudgy model, abd the targetting of Jayce's Q hitting the edge of it. . I wish I could say with more certainty, but I can't think of any other reason this would no longer work.

This doesn't seem like anything intended, and it's nice to be able to use camps in this creative way to jump the wall. Furthermore, it harms the jungle clarity to be able to only do this with some camps but not others. It doesn't seem like an unreasonable "buff" to allow Jayce to jump the wall again like he used to.

SOLUTION: Change the way Jayce's Q jumps, or change the way targeted skills interact with Gromp's hitbox, allowing this fun play to be made again.
