i used to just play any champion but now i want to have a main champion that i can use to climb rank. can you give me any suggestions for Top champions? im thinking about tanks with cc and can win any team fight when played well. also i might be selfish asking too much but since im going to main i wish for a champion that is pretty fun to play and has a cool concept. it would also be great if the champion would be pretty flexible so it can also go to other lanes too. right now im thinking about shen and rumble but worried about the damage. also jax but i think the tankyness is low. maybe malphite. pls help me its on my mind all the time XD(PS. i want the champion to be unique and very op when mastered)

Honestly, I would recommend Singed based on your description.

Very durable, good damage, good CC (displacement, synergy with Rylai's Crystal Scepter) and a unique playstyle that many players don't know how to handle.

Early Items: item 1082 + item 2031 --> item 2033

General Item Build: item 3009 or item 3111 item 3116 item 3512 item 3151 item 3742 item 3026

I would recommend watching Singed420 if you want to learn how he is played.

if you want tankyness, fun, and the ability to say jungle top and support, well your guy is TahmKench early game tower dives with two health bars? stuns? slows? hard cc free 6 second hourglass for your carry? free 3 seconds of taking enemy carry out of the fight? nice semi global ult to gank mid from the dragon pit with your adc? or gank mid from top lane river?

he also gets more damage for building tanky and has built in sustain.

if you want a good support to just play but is kinda boring and cant carry more then his diamond material shield due to now mattr how good ur ult is your teammates dont know how to position? Braum

i played a game as TahmKench vs vi, i pulled my adc out of 3 vi ults with devour, i played a game as i pulled our Sion out of Yasuo while he was midair, right as yasuo began to ult him.

i played a game as TahmKench and pulled somebody out of Skarner ult wit devour

Jayce Has high as hell damage and is deadly as hell when mastered. Hard to pick up though, so if you aren't willing to put in the time on him, don't try.

There aren't "top" champions in the truest sense of the word. There are strong ones, but individual strength depends on ally and enemy team comps.

Kennen top has insane damage and AOE cc, and a great laning phase. However for tankiness/CC and a good laning phase Gnar is insanely good at it
