Just a thought on the new draft.

Currently it's so frustrating to get autofilled into support. I will still play but I just really hate playing support. I know I and many others wouldn't mind waiting an extra 5-10 minutes if it meant they got there chosen role, rather than get filled into a role they simply don't want to play.

Every one need to take their turn playing support in order for people to actually get in a game. Until the ratios of people wanting each role even out, autofill wil remain.

It would not be a 5-10 minute wait though. Maybe during peak hours, but other times of day might see 15-30 minutes wait. Every game. Hope nobody dodges or misses a champion lock-in.

Not enough people play support, so untill that issue gets fixed, everyone else has to bite the bullet and do it from time to time.

You might not mind a little bit of a wait, but that's not feasible if you wake up early, and have time for one game before getting ready for work/school when you suddenly need to put 75-90 minutes aside for a single game (hour games are rare, but they do exist still).

Non-supports having to play support isn't a new thing. It's always had to happen due to the lack of Support players. It's likely not going away anytime soon either.

Autofill is awful. The whole point of the new system was to get your roles more often, and now you risk getting randomly tossed into another role anyway. It ruins match quality as you have some guy who never bothered practicing the role, assuming he'd get his own two selected roles. Half the people who get filled to support simply troll the whole game.

Does no one Remember Pick order? Honestly, back in those days you would get eaten alive in Ranked, if you were not at least somewhat competent in every role. Now this whole role selection has created a sense of entitlement, where people think their rank should represent their best role exclusively.

You probably shouldn't be in Ranked if you can't play each role comfortably enough to fill. And if your not in ranked, then match quality is less of an issue, and it is your chance to practice that very role that your not comfortable with.
