League Optimized for 4k Resolution

I bought a 4k monitor and even though league has a resolution setting for 4k, i think most of the UI elements are really small. i turned the HUD size down and i change the chat size later in the video. In my opinion, the subject that bothered me the most was how small the cursor was. even though in the video it apears to be inside of a little inner box, it was the same same as in the video. I think these elements including the menu and store could be changed, because it is rather hard to play on such a small cursor. I change the store size @3:50 and the mini map icons are ridiculously small.

I agree, some UI items need to scale up with resolution (minimap, health bars, and cursor).

I got excited and fired up League of Legends on a 5K Retina iMac, chose Soraka to be safe even if something went wrong with the display settings, and then proceeded to heal random minions in the midst of teamfights. I couldn't see where I was pointing.

It looks beautiful in such high resolution, though.

Yes, my biggest problem with League in 4K is the mouse cursor. That is ruinous. In a complex team fight I more or less end up guessing almost randomly where my cursor is. If it's among a horde of minions, there is zero chance of seeing the cursor. I am absolutely useless in a fight like that.

Oh, and the icons in the minimap don't scale up, you can barely tell which champ each tiny circle is. Similar champion icons are indistinguishable.

And this is 7 months after that first guy commented.

Considering that high-end gear is what the best gamers use, and what people with more money to spend on League are likely to have, this should be a priority.

As it is, I'm going to be forced to manually move League to my secondary 1080p monitor when I play. Which brings up another of the MANY problems with the League client: It doesn't learn what monitor you want it on. It keeps going back to the main monitor, which is maddening.

But I bought the UHD 2160p monitor, in part, because I wanted it for the gaming experience. Being unable to use it for League makes me want to go play something that DOES support it. Or at least not become unplayable in it.

My two biggest problems with 4k is. The scale with all the numbers and names is huge, and i cant tell my champions stats. The cursor is tiny, And I can deal with the small cursor. but not being able to read what my stats are and what my items are doing is driving me CRAZY!!

I agree. New 4k monitor and my curser is smaller than a minion, it's so hard to see where I'm clicking.

If 4k isn't optimized why use it?

Im having a huge problem with the small Health bars, i gauge auto attack range with my health bar. They need an option to increase size on health bar, minimap and mouse size:(

With the new HUD update, will 4k resolution be fixed as well?

Presumeably, you're suppose to be in front of a 27" screen or bigger. You wouldn't get the benefits of 4K. I've done LoL on a 28" screen, though I see some laptops at BestBuy being listed as 4K but only having 16" monitors and I haven't yet tried to understand how to fit 4K pixels into a screen that small when the pixels themselves are larger than the screen. Perhaps you have one of these "4K compatible" or "4K Ready" laptops? Just because it says it's 4K doesn't actually mean crap. If the screen isn't at least 27"-28" you can't get a real 4K experience.
