Braum's ult is a projectile ??? O_o

I've been playing a lot of braum lately and I came across something that pissed me off. Apparently, Yasuo's windwall can and will stop Braum's ult, althought it its not thrown. I am writing this post with the hope that someday, it 'll get to Riot ears and they will admit that this is a stupid mistake and will fix it. Anyone thinks the same?

It's intended. While you might normally think of Nidalee's Javelin or a ranged basic attack as projectiles, mostly anything that originates at one point and moves to another is. Braum's Ult starts at him and moves in a straight line.

For comparison, Lux's Ult deals damage instantly along its entire length so is something that Windwall won't block.

Then why isnt naut ult blocked by wind wall?

I said "mostly". There are exceptions.

Underground projectile. Game physics still applies. If it doesn't make actually connect to the wall, it won't be blocked.

A projectile is anything that moves and isn't a unit; it's that simple. Since Braum ult flies along the ground, Yasuo's wall counts it. The only ones that pass through it are Nautilus' Depth Charge and Xerath's Rite of the Arcane, which are visually projectiles but aren't coded in that way. Anything else (autoattacks, Maphite Qs, even an enemy Yasuo's Wind Wall) will be destroyed.

But doesn't Braum's Ult smash the ground? It should go under it!

I don't think smashing the ground does that...

In logical terms, yes. In game terms, no. Then again, we're talking about a breeze that blocks cruise missiles, so perhaps logic isn't the first concern.

On the plus side; This means you can block an enemy Braum's ult with your shield.
