Riot Please look into the way your MMR is being caculated...

If you look at my above link/match history, you will notice that I carry pretty much every single game and have close to a 90% win rate in the last 20 games. I was never in "ELO hell" or had bad MMR. I was placed in Bronze 3 on a fresh account and no matter how many games I win in a row, or no matter how high my win rate, my MMR never increases exponentially; it just ever so slowly creeps along with my rank.

Now this might not be THAT big of a deal for someone like me who will eventually get to my normal rank, but how do you ever expect someone who is maybe Gold Level to get out of bronze/silver in any reasonable time frame, when their MMR is never increasing based on their win streaks? I'm still getting 22lp/23lp per win, which is extremely low IMO.

I haven't skipped a division and haven't even been close to skipping a division. The whole point of MMR is suppose to be to match you against players of your own caliber by increasing FASTER than your rank, but clearly from B3 -> S3 MMR is not working that way at all.

Now sure, I could play with a diamond friend and change my MMR by duoing with him and winning, but it shouldn't HAVE TO BE that way. You should be significantly rewarded for huge win streaks and high level win %'s.

Anyway, thank you for listening... <3.

Sincerely, Cuddles

I think the issue you're having is confusing your actual mmr with op.gg's estimate of your mmr (which is known to be esp[ecially inaccurate near the start of the season).

If you really are maintaining an 90% winrate, your mmr gains will quickly find themselves outpacing your rank.

Also, I consider 20 LP to be 'normal' LP gains, so you're already getting to be ahead of the curve in terms of mmr.

Normally I would agree with you, however, I was getting 23/24 lp wins as soon as I was placed in a division and it has not increased since I started playing.

Also, if op.gg's MMR estimate was really that far off, I would have easily skipped a division by now, but it seems to be spot on, at about just 75 over whatever my current rank is.

Well normally ones LP gains drop with each promotion, since your lp gains depend on your mmr relative to the average of the division. That it hasn't means you're consistently staying ahead of the curve. I suppose it is a bit surprising that you're not further ahead of the curve, but you're getting a promotion every 7ish games so your rank is keeping a fair pace.

Not skipping divisions doesn't really surprise me, as that's really hard to do without intentionally messing with things (e.g. dodging a lot to avoid lp accumulation despite mmr gains). From my understanding, you need mmr a full tier above your current division for skipping to be a thing, and that's hard to manage if you're constantly climbing.

how hard did you have to troll to get placed into bronze 3 though.

Right, it's suppose to even you out to a 50% w/l rate, but in some kind of respectable timeframe... Right now the way it's working from my Bronze 3 to Silver 3 climb, it has literally not been a factor at all. I am simply just playing people in my new division each time, regardless of 90% win rate.

You do have an overall 57% winrate though despite the impressive recent streak, which seems suggestive that you had some rough patches as well that would have undone a lot of your previous gains.

I also suspect, but don't know for sure, that the fewer games you have played in total, the more sensitive your mmr is, since the system is more and more confident. So for example if a fresh account went WLWLWL... for 50 wins and 50 loses (so roughly no net mmr change) and then went on a 20 game win streak, their final mmr would be lower than a fresh account who went on a 20 win streak right off the bat.
