just wanna make sure to say that i like this change alot, i just wanted to try my hand at boards-level whining in an attempt to see why people do it all the time, so far all ive gotten out of it is a headache tho
I don't think the movement speed is the issue. His righteous glory r combo works fine. The problem is that without heavy ap investment he doesn't do enough damage to anybody, and there are many lanes he just flat out loses unless the enemy is a vastly inferior player.
If anything, I think they should be buffing his early game passive, maybe make his ultimate grant something to q or w, increase e scaling with feast stacks, or return the refunded portion of cooldown and reduced mana cost when ultimate is used on minions.
Obviously only do one of those, but they would probably be more helpful than ultimate stacks giving movement speed. If he needs speed, make it base. Not being able to walk away from the rest of the toplane roster due to being slower is a pain in the ass.
Just give him a really overkill buff and give him 3/6/10 Armor/MR per stack of feast, scaling with eank
Cho'gath is pretty underwhelming at the moment. My biggest gripe is with how difficult it is to budget your mana between farming and poking. When Vorpal Spikes was a toggle ability you could continue to farm and poke while utilizing your passive for mana. Now once you run out of mana you cannot utilize your passive efficiently.
