Nasus Is way to op.

Nasus needs to be nerfed. No matter how much you poke him and have him tower guard he can still farm his Q like none other. Any thoughts?

Freeze lane, zone out. Guess who can't farm Q now?

Only works for so long.

Now if his passive was 5/10/15% then he would be easier to punish early to mid game.

Works until you get ganked, then you rinse and repeat.

Considering I'm going to assume this is low elo (the only place people cry about a Nasus pick) then this should work the entire game. Just need to babysit him.

You have no idea how annoying Nasus is to have to deal with even past gold. He is non interactive and has the sustain to make poking him not stick.

If it were not for his inability to easily harass high mobility ranged champs he would be be basically pick or ban and with other nerfs going around he might reach that point anyways.

Sitting in Platinum I 0LP right now, pretty sure I know how to deal with a Nasus. He's not picked often because he's so easily dealt with if you get an early lead and can zone him, forever stopping him from stacking Q.

I'd also like to point out that if he's zoned, he can't sustain as it requires him to be hitting things unlike Garen who doesn't really care if he gets zoned for a little while.

E: The entire point of picking a Nasus is to be scaling into the mid-late game, if you can delay that stack by even the shortest amount of time then you've done your job by eliminating him as a splitpushing threat, forcing him to group for what's essentially a 4.5 vs 5 or get destroyed 1v1

Not sure if sarcasm or crying for no reason...

having him tower guard? there is your issue as he can sustain under that turret and farm to his hearts content.

To beat nasus you have to be able to have kill pressure on him, freeze your lane and force him to take a lot of harass for every cs without pushing yourself out. It can be worth missing 4 or 5 cs to let the lane push towards you. Late game he isn't worth much in a team fight with how much mobility there is (aside from his slow on some champs).

Nasus is pretty strong right about now. Most early game champions have been nerfed, Flask is currently the strongest lane item for Top outside of Dorans blade + wolves, Ignite has become less popular as a top lane summoner spell and his itemisation has been buffed a lot. (2.45k for a frozen heart, you can get that by 12 minutes even if you're behind. If you're ahead you can get it at 9 minutes easily.) Factor in the fact that games tend to last a lot longer now and you have a strong Nasus.

Of course, Sheep will say otherwise because they're idiots.

I have the same problem with Nasus. Sometimes I manage to kill him once or twice early game, but the moment where he can outsustain most folks' damage comes too soon in the game.

The real problem, though, is that to consistently beat his pick you must exploit his need to farm to be useful and end the game as soon as possible. But I don't know how to do that unless I and my team have an extraordinary gold/level/objective advantage.

Did you try murdering him early game?

id be down for some nerfs if he gets some sick mobility to compensate

very easy to stop him from farming tbh. the part that is dumb is how fast he can farm his q mid-late game. shut him down all u want early but regardless, someone is going to have to stay laning with him or else hes just gonna farm his q up anyway. maybe they should make it like every 10 minutes his q stack rate lowers by 1 (min of 1.). that way he cant just be rekt until 20 minutes in with 100 stacks, and still be at 300 by 30. at least then you could actually shut him down. i mean you could just go 5v4 against the enemy while he stacked but if they team is smart enough to hug a turret, u cant always dive 5v4 and win. and even if you can, as long as they drag the game out JUST long enough, nasus can still come back huge af

but this way nasus if nasus has an easy lane and easy farm, he can still do what he does and farm good. and if he gets shutdown, he actually STAYS shut down. and not too far that he cant catch back up either. maybe just like minimum of 2 stacks per unit killed tho
