Who should i choose

So i usually play solo and just for fun but recently i am trying to play competitively and with a team, so what champion should i choose Pantheon, or gangplank, or any other champion that would be good to use for top lane

Darius and Garen tied for 1st Rumble and Gnar tied for 2nd

So imo the reason why you look for Darius/Garen is because they can be simple lane dominate champs that have a simple transition to the mid game and team fights.

Rumble and Gnar have similar idea, they can be lane dominate depending on matchups but they have better team fighting abilities

Jax and Kled/Yorick tied for 3rd Jax is just a monster after a few items and if the games happen to go late (35+) the fact is that jax is always a win condition even if you feed, you get 4 items on him and you can literally 1 v 9

Yorick is solid split pusher but he has some really bad matchups (Jax for example just smashes him so hard without even trying) but if you pick him into good matchups or even matchups you have a good chance of winning and turning top lane into the Island that Yorick built, he doesn't team fight quite as well but his W and E R can be so huge in some cases for catching ppl out

Kled is like a more lane dominate / roamer who can snowball other lanes with his R but he takes a little while to learn and especially those dismount / mount mechanics can be tough but a good kled can really take over a game and can start fights too

I suppose the biggest question is what is your playstyle? Pantheon and GP only have 1 real thing in common, they have globals so i would say what are you trying to do exactly? are you trying to win lane and snowball and look for ways to R other lanes? (pantheon)
Or are you trying to just play a conservative game where you farm while being ignored?
