So there will be no limits on numbers of chests i can get in LOL if I continuously play it? Or, I can only get as many as the heroes I own?

You have a limit of 4 chest slots, so I guess you can only keep 4 of them while hoping you get keys, once you unlock a chest you free up the slot for another chest to hold on to.

So better start buying those keys with real money if you don't want to miss out on that free stuff, oh but its not a money making scheme at all so don't worry about it. You can also buy chests but don't worry, this is totally not selling gambling to kids, its just random fun free stuff for your favorite game.

EDIT: Just read a bit on this. Turns out you have 4 chest slots, when you use one it gets locked (I guess using one means unlocking the chest? Still not sure.), every week 1 chest slot will unlock. Hope that helps.
