New player getting matched up against a diamond 5...

Today I played a game and this does not make sense. Im lvl 25 and im getting matched up against a diamond 5 fizz. How does this make sense? How does the system put me with a rank like that? How is a new player supposed to learn something when a guy like that just destryos everybody left and right?

This would be a perfect learning opportunity for a new player, would it not? He's also probably premade with the level 11 and just wants to play with his friend. This is what normals and dynamic queue are for.

Are you actually a new player or just pretending to be one so you can complain?
Normal mmr is different from ranked mmr. It's likely that the diamond player has average normal mmr and is queued up with a friend who has even worse normal mmr.
