Am I seriously not getting my ranked rewards

I have had a chat ban on this account for about 850 games, and have 400 more games to go... I don't play much at all but I did climb to plat and wont touch this game again if I dont get the rewards.

Is this actually the case?

If you don't finish your restriction, then no, you won't get them. If you could just stop playing and receive your rewards then there would be no point to the punishment; only reformed players are eligible.

Chat restrictions can be worked off in Co-op vs. AI modes, so you can grind through them in 3v3 bots pretty quickly.

Reward for being good (enough): End of season rewards + being in higher elo. Reward for not being toxic: Being able to write as much as you want + all chat. Punishment for not being good: Worse end of season rewards + being in lower elos. **Punishment for being toxic: **Chat restrictions etc.

Spot the mistake of this punishment.

Because end of season rewards are meant to reward you for climbing. It doesnt make sense to not get something thats meant to reward skill because of your behavior...

I don't know any game, sport, competition, or anything of the like where your behavior can't get you kicked out and rewards taken away.

If you say something like "fuck you" to someone in a marathon/ soccer/ football game/... You wont get kicked out of it or taken your rewards away. You might look like a fool, but you wont get punished like that. Also in this "metaphor", kicked out means banned and you dont get rewards if youre banned. Chat/ ranked restrictions are enough.
