ahris too weak, annie has longer cool downs, gets rekt before 6, after that its just a feed fest, where zed kills you more often, but you kill him too when your spells are finally off CD.. BARD LOL OK UH HUH. cho cant touch zed, he just never dies after his second completed item, feel free to feed before hand. diana = LOL NO MOBILITY here comes the enemy jungle while i relentlessly push you in. ekko, not a counter, just not a feeder, still dies to death mark. elise.... no, just no. fizz OK, and kayle EHHHHH, its going to be volatile of which zed still stands a strong chance. jax sure, lissandra, NOPE, loses in the damage and bulk department eventually bends him over in the team fights, if she makes it there. shen, not a mid laner, vlad, not a feeder, talon nope super volatile lane not stronger. warwick and vi, are once again, junglers.

so yeah, zed still wins the lane the vast majority of the time just for being zed

she doesn't win, she just has the raw utility and potential to do something about the matchup and possibly keep herself alive.

tell yourself, are you winning more than 50% of your matchups on ahri v zed? is it really you doing the job 1v1? are you snowballing 10-0 like he is? lets get serious, you arent doing any of those things to win against zed

If you think ahri is in anyway weak then you don't play mid. She's one of the best ap mages mid lane. If not the best but highly picked and contested . Many ahri mains roam the high Elos with their balanced mobility. :^)

1v1 zed from 100-0 on ahri. you cant do it. ever, you need to out skill the zed, come out ahead on trades, and then all in him with ignite, and then you kill him

ive been in this exact matchup countless times, its volatile, its gross, ahri doesnt have the advantage. shes just not at a blatant disadvantage like so many other mid laners are.

Because zed can just walk into an ahri and auto attack her? A good ahri is cancer. Abusing her heal movement speed and her auto attacks. Rush zhonyas and the second he goes on u u can either charm or zhonyas or use ur balanced ulti or flash away. She is strong

Every champion has their counters, this doesn't mean their power isn't too high.

And Zed's was, simply, way too strong, and best proof for that is how bringing him to current OK-ish state took 3 direct nerfs, few indirect and fixing a pretty game-ruining bug.

Notice how community isn't really complaining about Zed's state right now, but they complained about him before nerfs and fix, and they are concerned about his state after 6.9 patch, that brings numerous indirect buffs to Zed.
