What the below average low elo player (the everyman) thinks of new irelia

After playing new irelia for a while, I have found things I like and things I dislike about irelia. For starters, her lane phase is horrendous, and generally unfun. Against an ornn earlier I went 0/6 by the end of lane phase. I feel that new Irelia's lane phase should be bad, but not bad to the point that it is worse than that of gangplank or nasus. The thing about this new irelia is, however, no matter how far you are behind in lane phase, you can come back and legitimately carry the game. In that same ornn game, by the end I had dealt twice the damage of the other members of my team, and with titanic hydra + triforce was able to one shot squishies easily. I think that Irelia's threat in the late game comes psychologically as well as in numbers. If you bombed your lane phase, people generally end to ignore you in battle and think you aren't a threat, but once you are at second item you are a massive threat. Irelia starts popping off once she has triforce and titanic hydra. If you didn't bomb your lane phase, people still want to go for the ADC first. even by the time the enemy carries realize you are the real threat, it's too late. You've already one-shotted the enemy adc, and their APC or assassin mid laner is at half health. All in all I think she is actually in quite astable state right now, and she doesnt need buffs or nerfs. She is easily countered by bruisers that will scale as hard as her (fiora, camille) but have better laning phases and people who can end early and prevent you from ever popping off (pantheon, darius, illaoi).

TL;DR: Irelia has a horrible, trash laning phase, worst i have ever seen, yet once she get's to two items she's a threat to the entire enemy team (except those PESKY tanks).

One shot combo without ult(less damage, but you may be able to save ult for a longer time): E>Q>W>immediately let go of w (this will fully stack your passive)>Hydra empowered auto>q

One shot combo with ult (more damage, not always necessary): R>Q>W>Immediately let go of w> e>q>hydra auto>q
