Ping Confusion: PVP vs AI

Before anyone says anything, this is my first time coming on to these boards, and also my first time posting anything here, so forgive me if I posted this in the wrong board. I also don't know where the guidelines are, so, again, please forgive me.

Now, I have a question about internet tech-y things and this game. Simply, does playing against AI use less internet or whatever, or does it create less ping when compared to playing a PvP game?

I used to play on EUNE before moving to NA since it was where my friends who introduced me to LoL told me to go to--and I play from the Philippines, which is in south-east Asia. I don't play using Garena because I generally don't trust their service, even if they do control just about every online game in SEA. Now, while in EUNE, my ping hovered around 700, so after my internet quickly burst into flames, I made a new account in NA where my ping was halved--and after some time, my internet, again, burst into flames. I stopped playing for almost a year. Recently, our internet improved, with my 200 kbps download speed becoming 500 kbps as proof, so I returned to NA, and my ping stayed around 200 (most of the time) for most AI games, with some games plaguing me with 500 ping.

Now, I really want to play PvP again, but I'm not sure if my internet can handle it, or if PvP even affects it differently compared to Ai games. Ai games can get extremely repetitive.

Help?

Nah, your ping is the same in either mode. Still, that's a very high ping compared to most of the players on this server, and you will definitely see that reflected in how often you lose lane.

Thanks for replying. It's very much appreciated.

And I'm used to losing lane (200 ping + 10 fps combo), so it's fine. This is the only online game I can play that doesn't need shaders or a decent PC build, so I'm just playing to have fun, nothing serious.

I've played in NA for 3 years now (having 200 ping) and it is a big disadvantage, specially when dodging skillshots or fast-reactions. It takes a while to get used to it, but I've managed to play consistently with that ping; and for sure you will too. I got to gold playing with this ping, so why not? good luck mate :D

Thanks! o/

I've more or less gotten used to the 200 ping as well. Thank goodness Teemo goes invisible when he idles, because I stop a lot whenever my ping spikes up suddenly. I can't imagine all the Ai games I would've gotten over 10 deaths in if Teemo didn't go invisible.
