Being polite really does win more games!
I've been in countless games that if an
feeds she says "gg" 5-10 minutes in the game. Or even countless teams who just fight and argue cry at each other fight with the enemy team and so on. This is an Esport guys. There are players who want to play for the ladders and others who want to have fun. I want to make an informative post about what kinds of players should queue for what queues and how they should act around others and how you should play against others.
IF you are a player who is competitive and looking to fight to win, you should:
-Be cooperative, those who cooperate with the team generally climb to higher ranks -Be polite and kind, this goes along way -Identify when you are facing a player more experienced, hang back and be careful when engaging this will prevent feeding and toxic behavior -Queue for ranked games only Listen to your other teammates in draft pick, and by this i mean LISTEN to them. If a player wants a role, and you are first pick, first ASK them before you just go ahead and take it. Don't be a dick or be immature. This ruins a lot of player's experience with league of legends and it makes the game play toxic.
IF you are a player who plays just for fun
Try following the list above Being nice, with good teamwork makes the game lots more fun Queue for normals only as much as possible This prevents you from upsetting players who want to play competitively. For example if a player says calm down guys its just a game or I just play for fun so it doesn't really matter, this angers the competitive players who treat the game differently like I do Watch pro games! I don't do this myself because I want to learn on my own, but this can give you a taste of what pro play is like and it makes the game more exciting. Queue for some coop AI games This queue is meant for players who just want something to do or to try out new tactics or champions or even to test computer problems. If you are not confident in your skill, this queue can help you learn the basics.
The last thing
If you have computer or network problems, go get help before queuing for pvp, and by this I mean it will prevent you from getting reported for AFK due to unhappy players when it wasn't even your fault. It will also protect your account from getting the ban hammer and lots of time and stress.
Being coopertive really can make a positive experience for both you and the enemy team. If you see fighting or rude players, report them to the tribunal and ignore them rather than to engage in the shenanigans to prevent yourself from having a negative experience. Best of luck!
