So whens the vlad going to be nerfed? Just curious if I don't ban it 100% pic rate. Legit un-killable and a large annoyance

Hmm as a Vlad main let me give you a few tips.

Riot is afraid to touch him due to actually being balanced in all his statistics in both pro and high elo play. Unlike Riven and vayne sitting with their fatty winrates and high pick rates. Riot said themselves they dislike touching him due to him being either broken when buffed or flat out weak when nerfed. So to remain in a strong state but still have a wide array of counterplay in minor bits is actually healthy. Just because Vlad players know their champ better than you know Vlad doesn't simply mean he's OP.

Vlad has many weaknesses; save your cc for after he wastes pool and he will always lose a fight or trade unless he has good peel/protection.

He's immobile no matter how many movement items and runes he may take he will still largely remain immobile. Therefore he suffers ganks and being harassed by either hyper range champs or mobile champions if played to their strengths.

He lacks any real wave clear early. If you freeze the minion wave near your turret but not under it he can't harass you, can't farm comfortably and is susceptible to ganks.

Vlad's health costs hurt him most early so high burst trades in between his q's he wastes on minions will win you health wise. For example a kat player would simply have to wait to see his q on a minion instant shunpo wq and shunpo to each and then away before he can hit a max charge e. That is a huge chunk of damage and if he wastes w to dodge damage even better as it wastes his strongest utility for himself.

Lastly he suffers more than a plethora of champs in this game when needing to last hit any minion, his q range is similar to his auto range therefore he can be poked when going in for a minion. Sion can prove to be annoying early as a Vlad goes to last hit sion would kick a minion and q. If the Vlad w then it again wastes 20% of his current health and puts his utility on cd for a while. If he doesn't he takes a nice hit from the sion resulting in health difference.

If you can control both your and his health outputs and lane/wave control you will give him not only a vastly harder time getting to his spike but also have a fair chance of winning and a greater chance if your jg decides to pop over a couple times.

Vlad is a safe champ if they play safe. If you force them to need to play dangerous even to farm they suddenly lose that safe pick they had.

If you aren't a fan of that style well champs that outpush Vlad and can harass him under turret safely can also give him a hard time. This method tho leaves you available to ganks but is probs easier to pick up.
