Why is majority vote meaningless in surrender vote?

Just had a game where one person afked 3 people vote yes to surrender. One person decides to troll and vote no. Please change the surrender vote to have some common sense. One persons vote should not out weigh 3 people. I have had too many games where a 2 man duo will hold the game hostage for kicks or because they are mad someone fed. I know the devs dont play the game anymore but please put yourself in our shoes. When three people want out let them out

I'm assuming this was a surrender vote prior to 20 minutes? Because a 3 to 1 vore to surrender where a player goes afk does go through normally.

But what if I’m playing ranked flex, and a 3-man party decides to FF even if we’re clearly winning? Even if the other random player voted no, it would be a 3-2 vote and we would auto FF, even if we clearly could have won.

It just opens up more room for trolling

Because that is how it works here. If the majority didn't suck so much they would never have to abuse the system like they do. I wish RIOT would take it out of the game altogether so bad players would stop using it as a crutch and just want to go ruin another game faster.

This would be a Super Majority vote. I just wish riot wouldn't allow the 2nd vote until 20 minutes cause you can start it up at 19 and then have to wait longer for it again, or allow second vote after the 15 m one to be a majority vote.

I think in SOME circumstances votes should be as normal. Othertimes, like when the game itself recognizes a player which never connected to begin with and gives everyone a giant, blaring announcement to the fact, why are votes required to remake at all?

Getting sick of either witnessing (be it firsthand or otherwise) people voting NO when it's a 4v5. This sort of hostage situation wherein the intelligent player knows not to waste any MORE time and move on is PUNISHED because they get fed up and leave because the game spirals into a 20 kills to 4 scenario after a failed remake vote is preposterous.

There is literally zero point in trying to climb ladder if all the effort you muster to climb the tiniest little bit is taken away AND THEN SOME because of people like this, it is no surprise whatsoever that people get fed up and just troll because at least THEN they have some moderate amount of influence and would much rather go 'an eye for an eye' than HOPING to not run into people whose mothers SHOULD have swallowed.
