What's going on with Normal Matchmaking?

Just had a normal draft match, in which my team of solo unranked/bronze/silver players got matched against an enemy team that had a Masters opponent. Unsurprisingly, we got completely curbstomped before 10 minutes.

If I'm with a premade, facing opponents who are ranks above me is something I expect. But for a team that's all very low ELO to be matched up against a Master's level player is excruciatingly frustrating. This has been a trend I've been seeing in my solo normal draft games lately against a parade of platinum and diamond players, but this match was the worst offender so far.

Even worse, I completely lost my temper and ended up with a chat restriction. RIP my Honor rewards for the next couple months.

TLDR: Matchmaking in Normal Drafts seems to be getting progressively worse and needs improvement.

It’s MMR apparently. I have the same problem. I know I’m silver 3, yeah, but I keep getting stuck with players that aren’t even level 30 yet, or players that are like 40s-70s. I’m like level 175, but anyway.

It’s your mmr. All you can do is play better and hope you get matched better apparently. Kinda sucks but oh well. What’s a girl to do? Just holding out till next season when I start playing ranked again.
