Season 5 i ended in silver v and now i got 6 wins for losses in placements and im at the bottom of the elo hell. Is this something that is supposed to happen?

Riot said that they were going with a soft reset this season. That means that you'll be dropped down a full tier below where you were the previous season. I went 5-5 and got dropped into Gold V from Plat IV.

It means your MMR was low so your 10 placement games were in the bronze MMR level. Then you lost 4, so it put you down.

I have seen a lot of players drop 1 tier. I dropped from Gold 5 to Silver 5. I also did go 3-7 so not really surprised but seems like more players went like 6-4 5-5 and still dropped a full tier.
