So currently I main Ziggs because he's incredibly fun to play and does everything I want my champions to do. When I queue I go for mid/bot and people always think I'm trolling with the Ziggs bot pick. Does anyone else do this? Is it so terrible? I do fairly well with him anywhere I play him and in my opinion he brings enough the table that an adc is not inherently necessary.
Thoughts/Opinions?
I think ziggs would work amazingly well not and synergies with all kinds of supports (poke /all in) and sounds like he would round up a teamcomp with a yasuo zed talon mid very well. I am almost compelled to try it; it's just that I play him so differently mid (constant shove and then either poke under turret or roam and shove wave while I'm gone with ult ) that I might have to play him differently bot idk.

try malzahar morgana bot, its pure cancer Heimer alistar with double zzrot and banner is pure cancer too
some stuff just works go for it

You are objectively wrong. ADCs are necessary because their high sustained damage is necessary to take objectives quickly and kill front liners, especially tanks. Ziggs is good at taking towers and his objective control is good, but he doesn't have the other things you want from a traditional ADC.
maybe, but I feel that ziggs DOES have exceptional sustained damage, although I will agree he does struggle with tanks.
Think for a second. The meta exists for a reason.
I remember back when I started playing League mid-s4, Ziggs supp was fairly common. He has poke, a slow, & decent peel. Never seen him played as an apc in the botlane tho.
It's only viable if you have something like GP top and Zed mid or an AD JG.
his tower pushing is second to none and he trades extremely well with tankier supports bot lane
granted I'm only low silver so this has a lot to do with that but carry's arnt going to build MR to counter his dmg and ziggs can 3 shot turrets after midgame
