I like how TFT gets their roles right

Tanks can tank up to 4 people at once no problem, while also dealing damage or cc with their ability.

ADCs can carry if the tanks properly peel them.

Assassins can assassinate a few people before dying to the tanks.

Mages can burst down once they get items and mana up.

So why cant normal league be like this?

Yeah, that's not a good thing in regular league.

Tanks are not supposed to be unkillable. Especially when being focus fired.

Notice how in this guy's description of the game he unknowingly told us that tanks are the class who decide the course of the game with two of the other classes being defined as being killed by or enabled to do anything by the tanks.

No thanks bud.

Unfortunately assassins are beating tanks as well as marksmen. I had level 3 morde, darius, warwick, level 2 blitz, garen, kindred and one more level 2 champion. This comp had brawler bonuses (max hp), knight bonuses (blocking damage), phantom (sets one random enemy champion to 100hp). Still lost to assassin squad with only single leve 3 khazix (and 8 level 2 assassin champs) and I had no chance (repeated that combat 5 times, won once because of luck that phantom hit the khazix who was oneshoting all my champs).

Irrc when I had assassin squad, I lost only to glacial team.

Because the ai that randomly attack their targets in TFT are smarter than most players.

If you have four guys going at a tank...you doing something wrong. So yes a tank should be able to deal with them if the enemy is foolish enough to all focus on it...

In a standard MMO...you need someone to deal with the tank (ironically another tank in most cases or a Tank Shredding DPS who can survive or have a good support keeping them alive)...and go after the squishes he is protecting when you see the opening or viable option with the other team mates.

LoL problem is they want to make games end quicker and make things more face paced. This is why "Tanks" aren't "Tanks" in this game for the most part.

Tanks can do some damage (Not a lot, but enough to been seen as a problem if unchecked), tanks use support/aggro grabbing abilities.

The closest thing we have to a Champion acting like a true tank is Galio. A taunt (that also increases def temporally). A dash in to close gaps or stop enemy pursuers attacking ally. A minor stun (the dive in and ult). Ult is a nice concept but I would opt out of something that Boosts Team Moral (Stats) around him for a short time as an ult. Nothing really to say about his Q Poke but it helps giving a Melee at least one poke attack XD.

Shame he can get shredded because of the how game functions now and days XD
