if you pre-pick your champ, then why do you have to hit lock in again? makes no sense

Honestly, if someone can't even remember something as simple as locking in their champion, I'd rather not have them on my team.
Can't really do much about the stupid players; at least this provides another filter to prevent me from getting matched with them.

They want to make sure that you are online and present at the keyboard. I hear people saying how they want more bans, so I don't think losing a ban is a good option.
