Tips on climbing the ladder this season

I need help please. I've never been in bronze before, I've always been in high silver and now that I'm placed in Bronze IV I know that my climb will tough and long. I can deal with the toxicity of most players in league, now I'm asking you guys some tips that you can give me while climbing the ladder? Oh and I've noticed that I'm doing good in playing support like most of my games are won just by playing support but my main role is mid lane, I don't usually lose games when I play mid and I don't feed like what most mid laners in my elo do, so should i main support this season or should I continue the role of mid lane. Thanks!
