Junglers need better gold income in the new jungle

I'm liking most of the new changes to the jungle, but even when I get kills and farm a decent amount, I end up miserably behind in gold compared to my laners. I think it would be great if gold income passives were brought back to the new jungling items, it would help with the jungle diversity you guys have been talking about, and it would bring the impact of junglers closer to what it was in season 4. I miss being able to carry as a jungler, and the lower income hurts many junglers as well as the role as a whole.

I think you may need to adjust just how much you're farming in mid-late game. I myself am actually finding gold income to be superior to S4. This of course relies on using the correct jungler items.

You can see that I even manage to earn more than our incredibly fed ADC. It's all a matter of farming at the right time.

Also worth noting: Use of utility masteries makes for superior gold income much of the time. If you're a melee jungler you really need to invest in bandit. In the example match, my 8 kills and 15 assists amount to 345gold for a single mastery point.

I have not had a problem with gold in the new jungle. Even playing high priced item tanks with slow clears like Maokai. You just have to gank often and make sure you're taking all the important objectives.

I'm gurusii's game.

He failed to mention it was a normal game, how he took a TON of lane farm, and how he got the majority of his gold from Assists.

Jungle camps actually give a decent chunk more gold than in S4, it roughly comes out to having a gold item, and that right from the spawn.

If you have good clear speed (get Trailblazer) you come out just fine.
