Snake Lady Thoughts
Cross post from Latest on Cassiopeia. I don't actually play Cassiopeia that much, due to me only getting her right before the rework, but here are my thoughts on the snake lady.
See, the thing with twin fang, as I see it, is that it just doesn't thematically fit with the snake mage as a primary damage ability. Lets think about this in terms of a real venomous snake: Let's take the King Cobra, Ophiophagus hannah, for example. While it may occasionally bite multiple times, typically it will bite and hold on, relying on its venom to do the heavy lifting, so to speak. (And that venom is deadly, too, but that's besides the point) Perhaps more applicable to the way twin fang is currently is the Black Mamba, Dendroaspis polylepis, may strike multiple times as it's prey is trying to escape. Even still, that is more of an effort to inject more of it's extraordinarily lethal venom into it's prey, not to cause damage with the fangs themselves. What I see though as most fitting as a parallel to the snake lady is the Coastal taipan, Oxyuranus scutellatus, from Australia (Of course the snake with the third most toxic venom is from Australia). It will issue several quick bites, then let the prey stagger off, waiting for the venom to do its deadly work and reducing risk of retaliation on itself. The same applies to Cassiopeia in my mind. She should deal the main portion of her damage through damage over time, her "venom," rather than with the twin fangs.
TL/DR: Snake Lady should deal damage through venom, not fangs. She should be poison based, not machine gun based. If you don't like something I've said, don't just downvote, reply!
