Can we talk about Quinn's ult?

So I've just recently picked up Quinn and started to play her and I love her! Much like the few other people who love and play Quinn. I'm worried about her new ult. I like the idea and everything but I feel she's at a disadvantage compared to the other adc's. Her ult is no longer a way to quickly get into a fight and kill someone. It's more of early homeguard than anything. I understand that it doesn't have a cool down but that 2 sec cast time is going to ruin Quinn's fast and agile play style. No longer can we jump off someone's face and fly away. We just have to hope that we see them before they see us so we can ult and slowly fly away. Also she doesn't have her blind in the new update which is going to destroy Quinn's ability to fight another adc. Normally in the early game you would blind an adc to stop them from winning the trade but that's now out of the question.

Basically I'm trying to say that I'm really afraid of the new preseason and I'm hoping that Quinn will still have that "I'm a scout that can fight anyone" feel.

Thanks for hearing me out. Also I don't have full knowledge of Quinn's rework so I'm probably just overreacting

That's pretty much what people on the PBE forums have been saying as well, I've been maining Quinn since I switched to top lane a while ago, but after the change goes live I'm likely not going to continue playing her, you're essentially paying 120 mana for a glorified MF passive and she is left with 2 combat abilities that are usable in a lot less ways than they were before, I'd rather see them make her a duel form ADC similar to how Nidalee works and keep the blind on the bird form Q, while separating the cool downs between forms.

I totally agree! Her ult was completely fine and now the only benefit of the new ult is that you can run ignite instead of teleport with less risk. Which is completely lame! I just wish Rito would get the hint that Quinn's ult didn't need to be changed.

It also comes at the expense of her blind, she's not even a duelist anymore, she might still have OK burst but it's going to be a lot more of a risk to actually use it and she isn't going to have the assassination potential she has now, it's unfortunate, Quinn was the only ADC that really fit my playstyle.

These guys don't seem to be having a problem. Quinn can't be play as she is right now, but with new items, masteries, etc. New Quinn has a great potential. Yes her ult at rank 1 is 100 mana, but rank 2 is 50 mana, and rank 3 is 0 mana.

She also doesn't have a timer on staying in ult mode.

There is also the fact that her ult, her e, and her Q can all mark the enemy with her passive and Q now has a execute damage to replace blind. I am serious, watch these videos and you will see that the damage Quinn has now is INSANE.

Okay. Gonna have to say I'm convinced that the Quinn update isn't bad and is actually pretty damn strong. thanks for shedding some light on the whole Quinn thing!

No problem. People tend to focus on what was taken away and not paid to much attention to what was added. Yeah the ult is not combat anymore, but getting 3-4 passive proc in just a few seconds is really really REALLY strong.
