gold funneling isnt new. it has existed ever since we adopted AD + SUPPORT in bot lane. the support babysits the ADC and feeds gold and kills to the ADC to reach power spikes/items to do damage and "carry" the game.

what is happening now is a certain team comp is where a support goes "jungle "with support item, and an ADC like goes mid with smite, and the support helps lucian get jungle camps and gold while going mid and proc gold share basically "funneling all gold " to lucian to get him strong fast and early.

that is one example that has been used in LCS play, but there are others but basically thats the idea of it

OK. This takes communication and game knowledge.

Yi jungle. Taric mid. Yi gets red. While taric does nothing but last hit. Yi comes mid at lvl 2 with red and tries to kill using taric E and maybe flash ignite. Yi takes the whole minion wave. Yi goes to scuddle on blue side and blue. Comes back mid for next wave. This continues. Taric roams bot/top with yi to 3-4 man gank. Then yi gets jungle and mid farm. Yi will be HUGE with taric shields, heals, ult. Yi is not unstoppable.

This Strat works well with Lucian/Braum and Kai Sa/Braum as well

Diver with Conqueror or assassin mid with ignite and electrocute.

Something that you should not bother yourself with if you are silver. It wont go well 100% and poor execution will only put you and your team in disadvantage.
