Stop ,,first time,, in Ranked mode

Hello everyone,

Especially in the low ELO happens quite often, that players pick champions with which they have barely 3 games played (or just bought them) Yasuo and pick them immediately into the Ranked mode. This situation usually has a negative impact for the match.

So I thought of a simple thing to prevent this, namely through the LEVELING of the champion.

Once the player reach certain level with champion, champion will be unlocked for the Ranked mode.

I think it would have a more positive impact on smurf players as well. Where smurf players have to level up first their mains, which will take longer (at least) and on some cases it can maybe discourages them from smurfing.

What do you think about this?

Good day to everyone. [katarina-love]

HOTs made you level a hero/champ up a certain amount before they were playable in ranked.

So I would need 20 champions at what, mastery 3? Sure I've got that now, but years ago when I first started? That's a lot of time investment to unlock ranked....

you can play a champ 1000000 times and still have a bad game on them where you just lose. no point to add a blocker to a person's champion pool

Of course, but you can be sure every match, that your teammates has at least dozens of hours played with champion they picked. So no one can argue with ,,sorry I am first time Vayne - 0/9/1,,.

That's like arguing that you can still get injured or die in a car crash every once in a trillion times even if you wear your seat belt so... just remove seat belt requirement for when you drive a car. Uh... sure it can happen, but how statistically likely is it? Statistically you are less likely to die in crash or face serious injury if you wear seat belt. By same token, you are statistically LESS LIKELY to throw the game by playing sooooo poorly on a champ if you've actually played them several times before. This is even more true with today's players than it was in the past.[zombie-brand-facepalm]

it seems very likely cause it happens all the time, in league anyway. take one tricks. Moe/T1. they probably logged tons and tons of months/years time on Yas/Draven, they still get games where they do nothing but feed.
