Lee full clear with no pots used. Worth?

So I just started playing Lee and found out that you can clear your entire jungle first run through without using any pots.

Smite Krugs and finish them and then go straight to scuttle crab.

After finishing your scuttle you can go straight into the red buff and your smite will be up before the fight is over and you can smite it for health.

After that you do Razorbeaksand then wolves.

Go straight to Gromp and smite it then take blue.

If you manage your passive and life steal correctly you should have used no health pots and be able to back around 4:45 with almost 1000 gold. Is it worth it to stay this long in the Jungle with Lee or should I just be doing a normal clear so I can get to ganking faster? I am new to playing Lee and thought it was interesting to be able to clear without using potions. I would have never even thought to do the scuttle as part of my clear but I was watching nightblu3 and he showed me that an early scuttle is worth 65 gold due to the jungle item. Add the fact that it does no damage and Lee with machete and his w life steal you can get a fair amount of health back it makes this route seem tempting when an early gank isn't needed. Any insight would be appreciated.

An early scuttle only nets you 65g, fyi, until you upgrade your machete.

While I don't play that much Lee Sin I think the worth of farming that long on the first clear i entirely dependent on how your team is faring. If they're all strong early laners and are pushing aggressively chances are farming will be the better choice unless you spot an opportunity to counter-gank. Otherwise you usually want to help with lane pressure somewhere when rocking solo Q.

Scuttle is a good thing to clear for champions that struggle getting through the full jungle their first time through. Just keep in mind you're delaying your buffs which means their second spawn is later as well.

Congratulations, you've just wasted half of lee's early game advantage. Lee doesn't want to full clear, he wants to get to 2 or 3 and gank ASAP.
