if Riot are not planning to merge EUW and EUNE anyway....

why not have it in a place that makes more sense for EUROPE EAST players ping-wise like Romania? right now EUNE server is located in Germany (and im pretty sure 99% of the people there play in EUW anyway) and EUW is located in the netherlands and apart from the "server load" thing there is no reason for EUNE to exist anyway sure okay, if server load is that big of a problem that a company as big as riot cant really do anything about, why not AT LEAST make sense of the location of the EUNE server? EUW's server location is more to the west of europe but EUNE's server location is more or less in the center rather than the eastern side of europe.. im pretty sure no one from west of poland plays in EUNE (and if they do they should just go to EUW because it makes more sense?) so this server placement really doesnt make any sense to me and really server placement should be all about ping.

everyone knows how important ping is so i think this should be a big priority for them to do..

what kind of ping do romanians get on EUNE and EUW Respectively?

1,600 Miles in the US to the Chicago server gives me a pretty stable 63 ping.

And Frankfurt to the center of Romania is roughly 1,600 Miles so I would assume romanians get roughly the same ping I do which really isn't that bad.

It was likely placed in germany because eastern europe lacked the infrastructure capable of hosting it 10 years ago, im guessing that things have drastically changed in the past 10 years with EU investment etc and the fact that most danes/swedes/norwiegens play on EUW so perhaps riot should consider moving it to somewhere in the balkans.

EUW/EUNE were merged till 2011 then they got separated.
