If you don't want dynamic queue don't play it.

Riot has said that as long as dynamic queue is getting played and is functional that they will not release soloq.

There is an easy solution to get soloq back.

Don't play dynamic queue.

If the whole community says "Hey Riot, we really don't want/like dynamic queue so we will play every game mode EXCEPT dynamic queue". Then Riot will be forced to either remove dynamic queue or drastically change it from what it is right now. Yes I know that would mean no ranked for a while but if the community would unite and do this then maybe Riot would realize how far the community is willing to go to make our voices heard to the extent that WE want Riot to realize, not just their "sample poll" opinion.

Stop buying rp while you're at it

That will not stop them for making up fake statistics, though... It is unfortunate but Riot has such a big idea for themselves their ego will collapse upon themselves.

But that actually does something! How could we ever do that?

I haven't stop playing but I don't play nearly as much as I did before. I did stop spending money on the game. The thing is that I haven't given up on lol just yet but I'm also looking for other games. It's not a thing of saying I'm mad at Riot and won't play lol anymore, no, is more like I don't feel like playing lol right now and I prefer to play other game.

Or don't spend any money on the game. I was so tempted to purchase some RP to buy Bad Santa Veigar which I rolled in the "Your Shop", but I'm like nope, I'm not spending any more money on this game.

Here's the thing: despite everyone's misconceptions, the people that don't like DQ are a vast MINORITY of the people that play ranked. It's only getting this backlash because of the high elo, top 1.9% of players that stream or make vids about it. Those are the facts. A vast majority of people enjoy playing DQ, either alone or with friends.

98% of ranked players never experience any problems in DQ.
Riot is actively trying to fix the problems of the top 1.9% and the community is STILL bitching.

I agree, though, that if you don't like DQ - don't play it. I really wish all the haters would actually do this, because then they'd realize they are a vast, VAST minority of the ranked player base, and DQ would be an even better place because all the haters would be gone.

Please, stop playing DQ if you don't like it. We don't want you playing it anyway, silly haters.

There has been a letter by Marc "Riot Tryndamere" Merill, AKA one of the founders of Riot, saying that they will see how Dynamic Queue works, and if it doesn't work out as they wanted, they will restore SoloQ by next season.

But I'm afraid Riot will twist the facts and logic in such a way that:

  1. They See Dynamic Queue doesn't have many players since Solo players have majorly left
  2. Since all the remaining players are DynQ loving, team casuals or boosters, who all give good feedback to Riot, they will say DynQ is a succsess
  3. DynQ's duration is extended.

This might seem farfetched, but it's not out of the realm of possibility since that idiot named Lobster in the roundtable video said "People are playing ranked more than ever" Even though most, if not all modes have been either made unplayable due to neglect, or downright taken away.

Why is LoL still at the top of the competition, when possibly better games offer more content?

But I get so little enjoyment out of playing normals.

Also, passively fighting this battle will allow Riot to keep fiddling with their "metrics" and "buckets" and "iterative improvements" (@Riot Socrates) and nothing will get done for literally years.

ModKnightsKemplar6/5/2016, 8:38:05 PM2 votes

Well, not to be a asshole, but I think that plan has already backfired. Riot is fine with splitting the player base for the sake of the game, if they really think its an improvement.

The thing is, most people that leave the game because it's not to their liking will come right back as soon as Riot get back on track. Which they already intend to do. They admitted it doesn't work well right now, and fixing it is a huge focus.

They aren't going to bring soloQ back, though. They want to follow this direction, and they've always stayed committed to their crazy ideas in the past. It's one of the things that has made them so successful.

I imagine I'll get flamed at for this, bit what's wrong with DQ? Besides supports being hard to find sometimes, I don't see anything wrong with it. It eliminates all the fighting and whining over roles that comes with blind pick, which is a huge plus, and spreading the bans out allows for a little democracy.

True! $$ and subscriber numbers trump words on the forums. Same thing in WoW. LoL won't die, but it's not the same game it was 8 months ago.

Business trumps gameplay though. The crafting system was the immediate red flag, but DynQ and basically incorporating team builder into selection ruined it for me.

All I wanted was for Riot to help people get better at all roles, not allow them to focus on being crappy at just one role.
