My Thoughts On The New Patch!
TL;DR- Riot has shifted the meta to Tanks and wave clear mid mages they want The more exciting Team fight death ball comps that every one likes!
Luden's! - There will be no reason NOT to get this item if you are a mage! i love this item! but there should have been a few balance nerfs to go with it (xerath) But over all i like the idea!
**Champs who will (most likely) rise up again! - FROM THE BUFFS FIRST **
First off We have URGOT! that 8% mana on his shield is gona be a HUGE shield to trade with him late! i think it just (almost) what he needs to come back! over all i think a small speed buff would have been nicer! like on a rumble w. But i think he will resurface mainly because i love urgot already and now gives me free will to not be labeled as a troll in my ranked games!
KASSADONGER I played kass a few times on the old patch (5.4) in normal's and i liked him! i felt like i could ult A LOT more because of mana and i got like 18 kills a game but it was normals, Now i think he is even BETTER then the old kass and will be a much bigger threat but will he return to mid? he may be tested out top lane at first because of his shorter range but he will definitely be mid soon enough! But all in all he is definitely viable again!
NAUTILUS This guy was on the cusp of being viable before now riot has focus more on his tanky side with some nice buffs to his slow cooldown and early game shield! i predict that he will be the old walking submarine we all missed!
VEIGAR I do not think veig will rise because he does not fit the new meta very well at all at least in the mid lane he should be better in support siege comps tho!

I want to start off and say this is going to GREATLY increase Poke mages and team fight mages!. even though that is obvious i just wanted to clear the air about this items intent.
XERATH oh fucking hell this guys is already dominating our solo q games! now you give him an ap static shiv with 120 ap? ohhhhh jesus lol here comes ziggs 2.0! He will also be fitting the meta riot has crafted of the age of mid lane mage wave clear stall poke champs.
Ziggs will make a comback i think because he bombs will be able to actually clear the waves again, lol. And He isnt in a bad spot right now but because of tanks making a resurface and poke mages making a resurface we are gona need some answers to deal with people like xerath lol and ziggs and xerath both fit the bill of riots "dream comp" anyway so its expected for them to do something like this XD
TWISTED FATE man this is gona be his DREAM item he will be able to clear waves so that puts him in par with ziggs and xerath and he has good poke too! But one of the most redeeming qualities is his ganking pressure that means he has more global presence then ziggs and xerath! So all in all This item will mean he pokes AND bursts for harder! Movement speed (which is already fantastic on him remeber flash ghost tf?) is going to be even better! And his team fight will be stronger because of the aoe he has AND it brings so #AgeofTF
KARTHUS i have no clue but me MIGHT make a come back because this item is going to be great for him and he has good wave clear + team fight so teams might be picking him up again but i am confident he will resurface!
BRAND (THIS IS SOLO Q ONLY) Brand will be a force to be feared because this will help his aoe SO much His items before where like ok liandrys got it rylies workin on it now about my ap item? hmm zhonias cuz i need the defense? nah death cap for more team fight dmg! ya! but deathcap was just as good on him as every one else but this item fits him as well or better then tf because he used liandrys and rylies in ALL of his builds so its just gona be fantastic on him! the item may be more in brands favor then tfs but the meta is more in tfs then it is brand, Sorry buddy :(
